1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Ghetto Talent Boost (GTB) platform, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Platform Description

GTB is a platform that connects talented individuals from underserved communities with potential sponsors. We provide a space for talents to showcase their abilities in music, video, art, and photography, and for sponsors to discover and support emerging talent.

3. User Responsibilities

For Talents:

Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your work
Upload only original content that you own or have permission to use
Respect intellectual property rights of others
Maintain professional conduct when interacting with sponsors
Pay the required upload fee of UGX 2,000 per submission

For Sponsors:

Treat all talents with respect and professionalism
Honor any agreements made with talents
Provide clear terms for any sponsorship arrangements
Respect the privacy and rights of talent creators

4. Content Guidelines

All content uploaded to GTB must comply with the following guidelines:

No offensive, discriminatory, or hate speech content
No explicit sexual content or nudity
No content promoting violence or illegal activities
No copyrighted material without proper authorization
Content must be appropriate for all audiences

5. Payment Terms

Upload Fees:

UGX 2,000 per talent upload (non-refundable)
Payment must be completed before content goes live
Fees help maintain platform quality and security

Download Fees:

Sponsors may be charged for premium content access
Fees vary based on content type and creator preferences
All transactions are processed securely through Flutterwave

6. Intellectual Property

Talents retain ownership of their uploaded content. By uploading content to GTB, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected through GTB is used solely for platform operations, talent-sponsor connections, and service improvements. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

8. Platform Availability

While we strive to maintain continuous service, GTB may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

GTB serves as a platform connecting talents and sponsors. We are not responsible for the outcome of sponsorship arrangements, quality of content, or disputes between users. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm the platform community. Users may also delete their accounts at any time.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of GTB will be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, arbitration under Ugandan law. Users agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

GTB reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
